The Rotary Club of Ashburn, VA is pleased to welcome Captain Priscilla Ramaji, corps officer with The Salavation Army, as the guest speaker this week.  Priscilla, who is one of the Rotary Club of Ashburn's newest members, will share insights on her work with the Salvation Army.

Prior to coming to the United States, Priscilla was a vigilance and enforcement officer in India.  As a vigilance and enforcement officer, Priscilla led inspections, making sure food rations and other beneficial programs would properly go to the underprivileged. Upon joining her husband in the United States in 2000, Priscilla became a volunteer and soldier in The Salvation Army. By accepting God’s calling for full time service she became an officer and pastor in The Salvation Army in 2010.
Priscilla loves wearing The Salvation Army uniform, believing this is the professional and spiritual identity to reach the community without self- introduction. She believes that through The Salvation Army she coveted the amazing and blessed opportunity to serve God and community as well.
Prior to her appointment with the Loudoun County Corps, Priscilla was Corps officer in the Front Royal, VA Corps and Prince Georges, MD Corps.  As a Corps officer, Priscilla was responsible for all programs, outreach, youth activities, women’s ministry, and seasonal programs, including the Back to School, Thanksgiving and Angel Tree Programs. She was a member of Kiwanis Club in Front Royal, VA., during 2010-2014. Her life is Christ centered and dedicated to serving God and people with love and transparency. Priscilla holds a Master’s degree in Science (Botany) and Master’s Degree in Arts (Theology and Biblical studies).

Priscilla has been happily married over 27 years to Captain Pradeep Ramaji. They are the proud parents of two children Sunny and Mounika, and two pretty, adorable dogs Max (Beagle) and Dasher (Mini Dachshund).
